Ulysses not only brings your disparate data together, but also applies pre-built enrichment rules to enhance, refine or generally improve the quality of your raw data. Once this data is transformed into an intelligent Ulysses knowledge base using semantic processing, any user can have real time access to all relevant data through an intuitive visual UI.
Explore and Analyse
Leveraging Ulysses’ intelligent knowledge base, the out-of-the-box 360°view capability empowers users to see all information about any entity of interest, e.g. a customer, product, transaction, or even a day – in just a click. Leveraging the semantic connections, the user can then discover relationships in any direction. With Ulysses, a user can browse data much like they browse the www – dynamically and without any pre-defined reports or dashboards. Further UI driven ‘slicing and dicing’ features enable data scientists or even business users to quickly build, validate and refine business hypothesis in real time.

To enable data-driven decision making, Ulysses’ advanced analytics module with pre-defined algorithms is configured for specific business outcomes (e.g. provide recommended client credit risk rating or surface red flags on potential trade based money laundering activities). As Ulysses provides the key reasons for each recommendation, the interpretation and evaluation of recommended actions is much more intuitive.

Standalone Ulysses Solutions
SCRA and ATRiM are some of the solutions that has been built on Ulysses platform’s capabilities and semantic data. These solutions’ efficacy in a production environment and rapid speed of deployment is a testament to Ulysses’ capability of delivering superior business solutions almost instantaneously.
Data as a Service
with API-based connectors to provide the required data or outcomes (e.g. risk ratings, red flag indicator for AML, HS Codes for trade) for Applications and Transactional systems
Existing system enhancement
by embedding selected Ulysses functionalities (e.g. 360 customer view, predictions, anomaly detection) through API-based connectors in existing application or workflow system like Risk Rating, AML, etc.
Ulysses has been built from ground-up to be micro-service-architecture oriented; which means every “component” is architected to be modular and can be scaled up or scaled out depending upon use case and run-time requirements
Solutioning
When coming up with a specific solution, thanks to Ulysses’ modular approach, the relevant components will be selected to address the customer’s specific requirements. The various intelligent data processing, graph modelling and prediction elements can be mixed and matched to configure cohesive self-contained solutions
Analytical Modelling
Pre-built Semantic Graph models and Machine Learning models such as Graph Search, Knowledge Graph Reasoning, Clustering, Associative Rules Mining, Anomaly Detection, etc. comes pre-loaded with the platform and relevant models will be selected to suit solution needs. Once these models are selected, they will go through a rigorous process of model fitting, training, performance evaluation, predictions, fine-tuning and running multiple experimentation cycles.
Platform Agnostic Deployment
Leveraging its containeration approach, Ulysses can run on any environment with minimal configuration. Whether on Cloud – e.g Azure, AWS, GCP or On Premise – e.g. Windows, Linux
No Need for Data Replication
If the customer has a Data Lake, Ulysses is installed on top. If the customer does not have a Data Lake and wants to avoid data proliferation, Ulysses Data Virtualisation modules will be utilised to access data from individual client repositories without physically moving data
